Cooling temperatures and high humidity keep playing a strong role in aiding firefighters who are battling the three large wildfires in Southern California, with crews continuing to gain footholds on containing the blazes.

Three massive wildfires are burning all over Southern California, destroying acres of land and buildings, as well as injuring multiple people. All three fires began in early September, as an unexpected heat wave raised temperatures to record highs for the month.

Multiple arrests of students were made Monday in California's Central Valley as authorities investigated alleged online threats made against schools.

Scottsboro City Schools (SCS) says a threat was made against Scottsboro High School on social media by a student from another school.

Several arrests were recently made, including one of a 13-year-old girl, in connection to a series of school shooting threats made online in Northern California.
