Residents continue to moveout of Dockside Condominiums as evacuation deadline hits
On Wednesday, residents of the Dockside Condominiums received notice of a mandatory evacuation due to structural issues within the building. On Thursday, a day later residents of adjacent townhomes were told that they would also need to evacuate leaving them with little time to plan.

Residents of the swanky Dockside Condominiums along the Cooper River have until 5 p.m. Friday to evacuate, according to emails obtained by the Charleston. The suspected culprit:  Structural issues in the 19-story tower originally built in 1976.
