The crash happened around 11:15 a.m. near 22nd and Lawrence Streets. Investigators later said the person struck by the car died at the hospital. The driver and a passenger were also taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.

Denver Police are investigating two crashes involving pedestrians that left one person dead Sunday morning. The crashes were a block apart from one another but not related, police said. One crash happened on 22nd Avenue and Lawrence Street,

Snow will end overnight in Denver and the plains with clearing skies. However, the Denver weather forecast features snow returning to the region late Monday.

Temperatures return to the 30s Monday. Snow will also return starting in the late evening or overnight, continuing into Tuesday, according to Pinpoint Weather Team Meteorologist Liz McGiffin.

The National Weather Service has issued a Dense Fog Advisory for Denver, Greeley and Byers, lasting until 11 a.m.
