M ASHANTUCKET, CT (WFSB) - A man from East Windsor was arrested following a police investigation at Foxwoods Resort Casino on Monday. The man was identified as 40-year-old David Griswold of the Broad Brook neighborhood in East Windsor.

• Police Shoot Man During Response To Break-In Call In East Windsor: Prosecutor ( patch.com) — A police officer in East Windsor shot a man during a response to a break-in at an abandoned house. The man was critically injured and transported to a local hospital, while the investigation is ongoing with assistance from state police.

The townships of Hopewell and East Windsor will share its public health officer. Hopewell Township Health Officer Gary Dorsi will be designated as East Windsor’s full-time health officer for one year. The agreement goes into effect on Nov. 1 and runs through Oct. 31, 2026. It will operate on a month-to-month basis.

East Windsor police shot a man Tuesday at the scene of a reported burglary in their town, the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office said. The man, whose identity was not publicized, was taken to Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton following the 12:20 p.m. incident on Etra Road, and he was in critical condition, authorities said.
