PHILADELPHIA — Flamengo overturned a first-half deficit to defeat Chelsea 3-1 in their Club World Cup Group D clash on Friday, with second-half goals from Bruno Henrique, Danilo, and Wallace Yan securing the Brazilian side’s second consecutive win in the tournament.

Next up in the quarterfinals are Palmeiras: a repeat of the 2021 Club World Cup final that we won 2-1 in extra-time. They will certainly be motivated to not only exact revenge for that, but to continue the Brazilian league’s great successes in this year’s expanded field.
