On a night when Josh Hart broke a New York Knicks franchise record that stood for 56 years, he decided to give the game ball to a teammate who played three minutes.

It's hard to become the first to ever do something in the Knicks long and storied history, but Josh Hart and Karl-Anthony Towns did just that on Tuesday night against the Mavericks: Towns and Hart became the first Knicks teammates to get triple-doubles in the same game during a comfortable home win against the shorthanded Mavericks (no Anthony Davis on the second night of a back-to-back).

In dispatching the shorthanded Mavericks 128-113 on Tuesday, Karl-Anthony Towns and Josh Hart became the first Knicks duo ever to complete triple-doubles in the same game. And they did it with plenty of time to spare.
