Punjab Kings bought Australian wicketkeeper and T20 captain Josh Inglis for Rs 2.6 crore on Day 2 of the IPL 2025 Mega Auction in Jeddah on Monday. This was their second buy of the day after South African all-rounder Marco Jansen for Rs 7 crore.

The IPL 2025 mega auction concluded in Jeddah, with Rishabh Pant fetching a record-breaking Rs 27 crore from Lucknow Super Giants. Ten franchises spent a total of Rs 641.5 crore, acquiring both established stars and emerging talents.

Earlier, Rishabh Pant became the most expensive player in the history of the IPL as he was roped in by the Lucknow Super Giants for a whopping amount of ₹27 crore on Sunday.

After two days of intense bidding at the IPL 2025 mega auction, the 10 teams spend a cumulative sum of ₹639.15 cr. The money spent was used to buy players 182 including 62 overseas players. Here is how the teams' squads look like.
