Early in Fields' tenure, coach Aaron Glenn has become a little frustrated with his new quarterback being frequently criticized as a passer.

Johnson started off training camp on the physically unable to perform list as he returned from Achilles surgery last year.

Jets quarterback Justin Fields expressed that the team is "fine with taking 8-yard completions every play" this season.
