A new NFL trade prediction from The Sporting News' Vinnie Iyer has the Miami Dolphins and Detroit Lions striking a deal before the trade deadline passes on Nov. 4.

ESPN's Adam Schefter says either Bradley Chubb or Jaelan Phillips will likely be traded by the Dolphins in the next week.

Baltimore acquired Alohi Gilman from the Chargers for Odafe Oweh in early October, and the returns have been encouraging. The Ravens are playing a lot of three-safety looks and have been much improved defensively. Baltimore, per usual, has a ton of draft capital. We wouldn't mind them trying to add a low-cost pass rusher or run stopper.

Breece Hall and Brian Thomas Jr. are two of the biggest names to watch as the NFL trade deadline approaches. Hall could be the finishing touch on Kansas City's offense while Thomas Jr. is a perfect fit with Drake Maye and the Patriots.

Adam Schefter would bet on the New England Patriots trading former starting safety Kyle Dugger by the deadline.

Contrast that with the talent available in the 2025 and 2026 draft classes. Penn State edge rusher Abdul Carter, Colorado two-way star Travis Hunter and Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty were considered the elite talents a year ago. Those three players have had varying levels of success as professionals thus far.
