Tesla stock was trending down early Thursday after Nvidia reported earnings. Nvidia shares were down late Wednesday and were down about 2.6% in recent trading, at $142.13, following its quarterly results released Wednesday evening.

Expectations were sky-high and some fatigue may have crept in over Nvidia’s rocket-like trajectory but make no mistake: this was a remarkable quarter, burnished by fantastic execution and a sound plan.
