Family, friends, and colleagues will gather Saturday to remember two local women killed in the American Airlines plane crash in Washington, D.C., last month. Separate services are being held for Kiah Duggins and Lindsey Fields.

The filings over the collision of an American Airlines plane and an Army helicopter last month appear to be the first such claim and signal the start of a long legal fight.

Three weeks after a devastating plane crash killed 28 members of the U.S. figure skating community, skaters in Illinois are coming together to honor their fallen friends and coaches.

"I call them my kids, my babies, but they're gone, and I'll never get to see them again," said Toni Miller-Lowry, who lost three team members in the crash.
