The Detroit Tigers signed free-agent left-hander Andrew Chafin to a minor-league deal on Monday that includes a non-roster invite to major-league spring training. Chafin began last year with the Tigers but also spent time with the Texas Rangers.
Hill, a right-handed pitcher, signed a minor league contract with the Mariners this week, according to the team. He will join the team in spring training. Hill became a free agent in November, 2024, ending a seven-year stint with the Tigers organization.
