The Florida Cabinet appointed him executive director for the new State Board of Immigration Enforcement on Monday.

Ron DeSantis held a news conference at the Florida Capitol Wednesday afternoon. Governor Ron DeSantis will hold a news conference Wednesday afternoon from the Florida Capitol. According to a release, State Board of Immigration Enforcement Executive Director Larry Keefe, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission Executive Director Roger Young and Florida State Guard Director Mark Thieme are expected to join the governor.
