Nebraska baseball (4-4) took care of business on Friday night, kicking off the Frisco Classic with an 8-3 win over Sam Houston. The Huskers finally found some juice at the plate, tallying 12 total hits including three home runs.

Ava Kuszak, Jordyn Bahl and Emmerson Cope each tallied three hits and scored two runs, while Cope knocked in a team-high four RBIs.

One hundred and sixty-two years ago Dakota people were forcibly removed from their ancestral homelands in Minnesota and placed on reservations in Nebraska, South Dakota and North Dakota. On Tuesday the South Dakota Senate passed a resolution asking that the Dakota Removal Act be rescinded.

The EPA's implementation will now only apply to Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, and Wisconsin - after South Dakota and Ohio opted for the delay. The EPA's expansion is meant to enable both E15 and the more widely available E10 fuel blends to be sold during the summer, where the existing policy often keeps E15 out of the market.
