The NHL Department of Player Safety has revealed that Anaheim Ducks forward Trevor Zegras will have a hearing after a controversial high hit on Detroit Red Wings forward Michael Rasmussen.

Rasmussen had only played eight minutes in the game before he took a hit to the head from Zegras. No penalty was called on the play. Earlier Monday morning, it was revealed that Zegras will have a hearing with Player Safety for the hit.

As per Frank Seravalli, a hearing is expected for Anaheim Ducks prospect Trevor Zegras following his hit to the head of Detroit Red Wings forward Michael Rasmussen during Sunday’s 5-4 overtime loss to Detroit.
