The Dashiki Festival is a one-of-a-kind event where Dashiki fashion is on full display. The Colorado African Cultural Center designed the festival to celebrate all aspects of African heritage.

“This doesn’t have anything to do with a dashiki; it’s about who’s wearing it. It’s about us being here,” Pearson told CNN, adding that he wants to make Tennessee more inclusive.
