Officials say trade between Pakistan and neighboring Afghanistan has resumed Wednesday at a key border post following a dispute that turned into exchanges of gunfire.

A man allegedly raped and strangled his seven-year-old daughter in the Loni Border area, later fabricating a story to frame a neighbour, police said on Tuesday.
