Malayalam actor Bala was arrested on Monday by the police for defaming his ex-wife Amritha Suresh and their daughter on social media.

While Bala's marriage to singer-composer Amritha Suressh ended in divorce in 2019, he later married Dr Elizabeth. But that relationship too ended in separation.

Actor Bala, known for Malayalam and Tamil films, tied the knot with his relative, Kokila, on Wednesday (October 23) at around 8.30 am. The wedding took place at the Kaloor Pavakulam temple in Kerala's Ernakulam.
