Phillies prospect Andrew Painter was named to the All-Star Futures Game on Monday, but the team says he isn't going to pitch.

Painter, the Phillies’ No. 1 prospect, will not be pitching in the exhibition game as the team wants to keep its plan of resting him during the All-Star break.
