Jesús Sánchez was excellent to watch in the opener against the Orioles. He stepped up to bat five times and was perfect on the day, going 5-for-5 with four singles, a double, an RBI and a run scored. Hopefully that gets the outfielder going since it's been a struggle for him since coming to the Astros.

Gunnar Henderson and Luis Vázquez homered and Trevor Rogers worked seven strong innings as the Baltimore Orioles beat the Houston Astros 3-2 to avoid a series sweep

They headed for home and an off-day Monday with their AL West lead at 2 games. Houston received two strong starts, from Jason Alexander and Spencer Arrighetti, sandwiched around two troubling ones by Lance McCullers Jr.
