The 'Big Dumper' was named the starting catcher for the American League All-Star team this week, but he was more concerned about team goals than individual achievement.

Raleigh now has 35 homers on the season entering Sunday's series home finale against the Pirates. He's now tied with Seattle legend Ken Griffey Jr. for the most home runs in Mariners' franchise history before the All-Star break with 35. "Junior" also had 35 homers before the break back in 1998.

During the Independence Day game between the Mariners and Pirates in Seattle, superstar catcher Cal Raleigh asserted dominance by uncorking two homers that widened the gap amongst the home run leaders this season.
