New York City mayoral candidates Zohran Mamdani, Andrew Cuomo and Curtis Sliwa faced off in the first debate of the general election on Thursday night.
The Republican mayoral candidate tells Fox News Digital that New York City is “locking up toothpaste instead of criminals" and losing its best and brightest to low-tax states.
Zohran Mamdani, Andrew Cuomo and Curtis Sliwa will face off again next week for a final showdown ahead of the Nov. 4 election.
Sliwa said he was offered $10 million to drop out, adding that “Eric got the same offer,” referring to Mayor Eric Adams.
Thursday night’s New York City mayoral debate was the first time the front-runner, Zohran Mamdani, and his rivals in the race, Andrew Cuomo and Curtis Sliwa, had appeared on the same stage in the campaign. Their two hours of questions, answers and cross talk included pointed accusations, misleading statements and expensive promises.
