The Tennessee Titans’ offseason is well underway with the team mapping out their strategy to rebuild. Coming off a miserable 3-14 campaign, the team has many holes and needs upgrades across the roster.

The Tennessee Titans have reportedly granted former Pro Bowl pass rusher Harold Landry permission to seek a trade, and for a variety of reasons he could be a fit with the New England Patriots. Landry, an outside linebacker, was selected out of Boston College in the second round of the 2018 NFL Draft by Mike Vrabel's Tennessee Titans.

The Tennessee Titans could see one of their top defenders leave the team this offseason. According to NFL Media, the Titans have granted edge rusher Harold Landry and his agents permission to seek a trade.

Edge rusher Harold Landry has been granted permission by the team to seek a trade, according to an ESPN report Wednesday. Landry is scheduled to count $23.8 million against the Titans’ salary cap this season, a figure that includes his base salary of $17.5 million, per Over the Cap.

With two years remaining on what was viewed as a team-friendly contract at the time of signing (2022), Landry has joined Cooper Kupp, Deebo Samuel and Jonathan Allen in being given permission to shop around. The Titans are granting Landry permission to find a trade partner, ESPN.com’s Adam Schefter reports.
