After negotiations between the hospital and the insurer, Huntsville Hospital Health System has sent "notice of termination" to United Healthcare.

The decision came, according to a statement from the system, after “several months of disappointing negotiations.”

Huntsville Hospital has announced it has terminated its relationship with the insurance giant UnitedHealthcare. Hospital officials said this comes after months of disappointing negotiations between the two groups.

Huntsville Hospital said on Thursday that they will no longer be accepting UnitedHealthcare insurance as in-network coverage.
