Brock Purdy just might get his wish. The 49ers quarterback said after the season he wanted a long-term extension "sooner than later," setting a goal to have it done by the start of the offseason program.

GM John Lynch doesn't know exactly when a long-term contract extension with QB Brock Purdy will get done. But Lynch made it clear Monday that he does expect it to happen, perhaps even soon.
