The Los Angeles Angels on Sunday recalled right-hander Jose Fermin, 23, who is 2-2 with a 6.63 ERA in 23 games this season, from Triple-A Salt Lake, and designated righty Connor Brogdon for assignment prior to the series finale against the Athletics.

Game two of the three game series between the Athletics and the Los Angeles Angels will take place tonight at Sutter Health Park in West Sacramento. Fresh off a decisive Friday night victory over the Angels, the two teams will go at it again at 7:05 this evening.
