MotoGP publishes new Sunday schedule for Australian GP amid windy weather
MotoGP has announced that it is proactively changing the schedule for the Australian Grand Prix on Sunday due to the expected windy weather at Phillip Island. The grand prix has now been pushed back by an hour to “ensure the best possible conditions”, with the start times for the Moto2 and Moto3 races also adjusted accordingly.

An overjoyed Raul Fernandez surged to a maiden MotoGP victory in Australia Sunday in his 76th race while Alex Marquez finished fourth to shore up his bid to finish the season second in the world championship.
With that in mind, the action now gets underway at 10.40am AEDT with a warm-up before the Moto3 race at 12pm and Moto2 race at 1.15pm. The MotoGP race follows soon after at 3pm local time. Prime among those absent for this weekend’s race is Marquez’s older brother Marc, the 2024 winner at Phillip Island and newly crowned world champion.
