Manchester United may already have one foot in the Europa League final but, given the number of occasions Ruben Amorim has watched his side shoot themselves in the foot, it is perhaps understandable he is taking nothing for granted.

Manchester United are planning to start contract talks with Ruben Amorim favourite and highly-rated defender Harry Amass at the end of the current campaign. The 18-year-old left back enjoyed an impressive pre-season with the Red Devils under former manager Erik ten Hag but has been more prominent since Amorim's arrival in the Old Trafford dugout last November.

Manchester United are expected to try and sign a new striker this summer - and that could spell trouble for Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee, who have both struggled this season
