Shohei Ohtani and Freddie Freeman hit home runs in a seven-run first inning and the Los Angeles Dodgers held on for an 8-7 victory Wednesday to complete a three-game home sweep over the Colorado Rockies.

Entering Tuesday the Dodgers have won 13 of the last 16 series at home against the Rockies, and over the two teams’ last 162 meetings in Los Angeles — the equivalent of a full season — the Dodgers are 109-53.
