Apple’s timing for its big Severance Season 2 release date couldn’t be better. I just finished re-watching the first season for the third time last night. I experienced the same feelings I did the first two times around: Elation, frustration and a deep need to know when this show was finally coming back.

I reckon Severance is one of the best TV shows we’ve been blessed with in a looooong time, but due to the writers’ strike and a bunch of in-fighting, it’s taken YEARS for season two to get made. But the time is now!

In the trailer, Mark races up and down the barren hallways of the workplace thriller’s dystopian offices, as the rushed voices of season one’s epic finale play overhead. The return will mark two and a half years since the show first premiered in February 2022.
