Coffee Pot Fire initially started 8:05 a.m. Aug. 3 in Tulare County. After being active for six weeks, it has burned 14,104 acres. A fire crew of 450 succeeded in containing 93% of the fire as of Thursday evening. A lightning strike is assumed to be the cause of the fire.

Los Angeles and San Bernardino counties will open joint local assistance centers to help residents recovering from the destructive Bridge and Line wildfires.

Line Fire initially started 6:33 p.m. Sep. 5 in San Bernardino County. It has burned 39,232 acres after being active for two weeks. A crew of 3,399 firefighters has been working on site and they managed to contain 51% of the fire as of Thursday afternoon.
