A man was killed in a crash involving a truck in Washington Township. Westmoreland County dispatchers say emergency crews were called to the intersection of Pine Run Church Road and Route 66 at 9:53 a.m. on Thursday. The victim has been identified as Christopher Negley, 48.

Jim Sandrovich was backing out of his driveway on Washington Township’s Sportsman Drive when he heard the impact. “All of a sudden, I saw smoke out there, and everyone was coming out,” said the 30-year resident.
