The success of the Winnipeg Jets in the NHL playoffs so far this season has done more than lift the spirits of hockey fans — it has given the city a wealth of free exposure.The televised hockey games — and the accompanying whiteout street parties — have put a spotlight on the city and its downtown.

The Winnipeg Jets completed a late-game comeback for the ages to finish the first round. For the first time in the series between the St. Louis Blues and the Jets, overtime was required. In fact, these teams needed two overtimes to decide a winner.

The game at the Canada Life Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba, is the only one on the schedule Sunday night, May 4. It's a big one, with the winner advancing to the second round and the loser heading home for the summer.
