Police confirmed Monday that a second person has died following a shooting that was described as a domestic incident at a Worcester home. Police were called just after 2 a.m. Thursday morning to a residence at 8 Gingerbread Trail. A woman was pronounced dead at the scene, and a man was taken to a hospital to be treated for a gunshot wound.

WORCESTER ― A man who was hospitalized Thursday after a domestic case in a Newton Square area home in which a woman was shot to death has also died, according to police.
