The Hatchback is usually pricier than the Civic Sedan, but this increase means that, while the 2024 model had a starting MSRP of $24,950 and cost no more than $31,450, the floor and ceiling of the 2025 model's price range are now $27,450 and $32,950, respectively. All pricing listed in this article excludes Honda's destination charge of $1,095.

The new 2025 Honda Civic Hatchback is hitting the road - and for the first time in the U.S., it's available as a hybrid! The Civic Hatchback hybrid began arriving at dealerships this week, joining the recently introduced new 2025 Civic sedan and Civic Si.

Powering the new Civic Hybrid hatch is the same two-motor hybrid system that we've come accustomed to in the Civic Hybrid sedan and even the CR-V Hybrid. It consists of a 2.0-liter naturally-aspirated Atkinson-cycle gasoline four-cylinder, though it's bolstered by an electric motor to produce 200 horsepower and a hefty 232 pound-feet of torque.

The Civic Hybrid is new to the lineup for 2025 after being absent from Honda showrooms for a while. It's available in both sedan and hatchback body styles, with the hatch offering a bit more cargo space. Two trim levels are offered: the Sport Hybrid and the Sport Touring Hybrid.

With the new-for-2025 hybrid version of the Civic finally available with the extra practicality of a hatchback body style, the Prius had better watch out.
