Fallen Bureau of Fire Battalion Chief John Walsh was laid to rest on Monday following a funeral Mass at St. Paul Cathedral in the city's Oakland neighborhood. KDKA-TV's Chris Hoffman and Ross Guidotti report.

Hundreds of people came to a funeral home in Green Tree to pay their respects and give their final goodbyes to Battalion Chief John Walsh. One family member tells Action News 4 he died doing what he loved. An honor salute finished out the day to honor Walsh, who died of a medical emergency while responding to a fire in East Hills last week.
