Bed Bath & Beyond executive chairman Marcus Lemonis announced no BB&B stores will open in California, as the company plans to open 300 new stores.

Bed Bath and Beyond executive chairman Marcus Lemonis said he won't reopen retail stores in California, taking a shot at Gov. Gavin Newsom and calling the state a risky environment for business.

Well, Newsom's latest target is the retail chain Bed Bath & Beyond, which is officially making a comeback after filing for bankruptcy and closing all 360 stores in 2023. The retail chain's executive chairman, Marcus Lemonis, recently announced that the franchise will not open any new stores in the state of California.
