The concert, which included patriotic themes, was the first of two shows at the stadium, with the second scheduled for July 7. Her album "Cowboy Carter" made history as her first country album and earned her a Grammy for best country album.

Given the themes of Beyoncé's Cowboy Carter album — which is country, despite what some may say — seeing her tour on July 4 in Washington D.C. felt right. She came out in an American-flag-themed jumpsuit with a star-spangled jumpsuit.

One stop before Beyoncé's Lindquist feature, she took the stage in London with a meaningful alternative to her fringed Loewe and Christian Louboutin boots. Instead, the star wore a pair of custom-made high-high leather platforms by Partlow.
