C hild stars who participated in viral videos are claiming they were abused in a new documentary series on Netflix, Bad Influence: The Dark Side of Kidfluencing, out April 9.

The Dark Side of Kidfluencing, explores the exploitation and lack of protection embedded into child internet stardom, focusing on mega kid influencer Piper Rockelle and the Squad that took the internet by storm from 2017 to 2021.

Netflix premiered its three-part exposé about the teen content creator and her mother, who was sued on allegations of child abuse by 11 former kid collaborators, resulting in a settlement.
