Axel Disasi was Aston Villa’s final signing of the winter window, joining on loan from Chelsea for the rest of the season.

Aston Villa have signed centre back Axel Disasi on loan from Chelsea for the rest of the season, both clubs announced early on Tuesday without revealing deals of the deal.

Axel Disasi is apparently going to Aston Villa after all, after rejecting Spurs (again) and evidently forcing Chelsea into accepting Villa’s offer. Disasi had agreed terms with the Villans several days ago already, but the move had hung in the balance with Chelsea stalling.
