Around 1:10 a.m., a 33-year-old woman and 17-year-old girl were walking in the 4600 block of South California Avenue when the two gunmen approached and went through their pockets, Chicago police said. About 20 minutes later, two women, 48 and 57, were on the sidewalk in the 4800 block of South Seeley Avenue when they were robbed, police said.

Chicago police said around 2:13 a.m., a 29-year-old man self-transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center after being shot in the 10500 block of South Cottage Grove in the Roseland neighborhood.

At least 22 people have been shot, three fatally, in shootings across Chicago so far this weekend, police said.

SWAT situation on Chicago’s South Side ended with two people hospitalized and one person arrested on Sunday. Police responded to a building near South Cottage Grove Avenue and 105th Street after gunfire was reported at the scene.

The public has been asked to avoid the area near 105th Street and Cottage Grove Avenue due to an active SWAT incident. At least one man was wounded in a shooting.
