Duke, Houston and Tennessee each moved up in the top five of this week's coaches poll. Auburn is No. 1, receiving 28 of 30 first-place votes, but the Blue Devils jumped Florida to take take No. 2 in this week's poll after their rout of Illinois on Saturday and garnered two first-place votes.

Michigan (20-6, 12-3 Big Ten), had a bit of a setback this week, dropping its only game of the week to rival Michigan State, 75-62, at home. Not only was the defeat the first at Crisler Center in May's career, it also included just the second technical foul of May's career and his first in the maize and blue.

The Badgers are no longer the highest-ranked Big Ten team in the coaches poll. Michigan State, responsible for a signature road win over the talented Michigan Wolverines, surpassed Wisconsin to secure the No. 8 spot. Michigan (No. 13), Maryland (No. 15) and Purdue (No. 19) also landed in the coaches' top 25.
