A man was was taken to the hospital in critical condition after being shot by police in Mercer County on Tuesday, police said.

East Windsor police shot a man Tuesday at the scene of a reported burglary in their town, the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office said. The man, whose identity was not publicized, was taken to Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton following the 12:20 p.m. incident on Etra Road, and he was in critical condition, authorities said.

M ASHANTUCKET, CT (WFSB) - A man from East Windsor was arrested following a police investigation at Foxwoods Resort Casino on Monday. The man was identified as 40-year-old David Griswold of the Broad Brook neighborhood in East Windsor.

The townships of Hopewell and East Windsor will share its public health officer. Hopewell Township Health Officer Gary Dorsi will be designated as East Windsor’s full-time health officer for one year. The agreement goes into effect on Nov. 1 and runs through Oct. 31, 2026. It will operate on a month-to-month basis.
