Initiative 2066 prohibits state and local governments from restricting or “discouraging” Washingtonians’ use of natural gas in their homes and businesses.
The initiative went into effect Thursday. “Millions of voters have spoken and Initiative 2066 is now law,” BIAW Executive Vice President Greg Lane said in a news release.
