Tommy Edman, who earned NLCS MVP honors for the World Series champion Los Angeles Dodgers, agreed to a five-year, $74 million extension.

The versatile NLCS MVP is now signed through the 2029 season with a club option for 2030. With Mookie Betts expected to move to second base, Edman could slot in at either shortstop or center field
