Thousands forced to evacuate their homes as flash floods sweep through Malaga in Spain
Although the fresh rains appeared to have brought limited damage, in the Malaga province, some homes were decimated by flooding after a river burst its banks in the town of Benamargosa. Some 3,000 people living along the Guadalhorce River were forced to flee their homes as well as a further 1,100 near the Vélez River.
