CNN’s Abby Phillip and guests pushed back against the right-wing uproar over the upcoming Oct. 18 “No Kings” rally after House Speaker Mike Johnson labeled the protest criticizing President Donald Trump as a “Hate America rally.”

Behar, who claimed to “resent” Johnson’s characterization, then closed the segment to note, “At the January 6th insurrection — or what they called a tourist attraction — there were nooses, there were calls for the death of Mike Pence … the cops were assaulted. And they’re worried about this? Get your priorities straight.”

Thousands are expected to flood downtown Dallas on Saturday to protest the policies of the Trump administration. Dallas is one of some 2,500 cities across the country with planned “No Kings” protests. In North Texas, protests are planned in Fort Worth, Plano, Denton and Frisco, among others.

Peoria protesters, including U.S. Rep. Eric Sorensen, lined War Memorial Drive to rally against Trump administration policies.

The line of protesters was close to a mile long, stretching from the Holiday Inn Marquette all the way to the Comfort Suites.

Thousands demonstrated in Oct. 18 as part of the nationwide "No Kings" rallies against President Trump and his policies. Some Republicans called the protests the "hate America" rallies.

A No Kings organizer said if Mike Johnson wants to brand them as Antifa, that's fine, because she is "proud" to fight back against Trump's "fascist government."
