Two police officers in Utah were killed and a third was wounded when a suspect opened fire as the officers responded to a domestic disturbance call on Sunday night, authorities said.

The alleged shooter in an incident that left two officers dead and another injured in Tremonton on Sunday used a high-powered rifle in the killings, court documents state.

“He wouldn’t do anything different. He would show up time and time again.”

This investigation, however, is expected to go much further, looking at other police and city officials for possible wrongdoing.

A Kent Police officer has been injured while arresting a man reportedly acting in a threatening manner with two bladed weapons.

A man suffered a fractured pelvis and collar bone when his car collided with a police vehicle responding to an emergency call.

Two people were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
