A $240 million Hapuna Coast luxury project is tied to a lawsuit involving Major League Baseball star Shohei Ohtani.

Just because Shohei Ohtani could be legally liable for the alleged terminations of two people associated with a luxury real estate project he endorsed, doesn't mean he was directly involved in their firings.

A Hawaii real estate investor and broker are suing Shohei Ohtani, claiming the Los Angeles Dodgers star and his agent got them fired from a $240 million luxury housing development on the Big Island’s coveted Hapuna Coast that they brought him in to endorse.
