Siemens Energy's (OTCPK:SMEGF) wind unit said Tuesday it was awarded a wind turbine contract worth more than £1B (~$1.29B) to supply the East Anglia TWO offshore wind farm of Iberdrola's (OTCPK:IBDSF) (OTCPK:IBDRY) Scottish Power unit.

Siemens Gamesa currently is out of the onshore wind turbine business in the US, and if it returns "it will be with a product update", the CEO of parent Siemens Energy said, while the company has to “wait and see” how the incoming administration of President-elect Donald Trump will play out.
